I was blessed to be a “behind the scenes” part of the wedding of my best friend’s daughter on October 14th, 2023, and it was amazing.

Angie and Nicole worked behind the scenes to make sure every occasion was perfectly set and ready for guests, family, and wedding party. From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding ceremony on the island to the reception dinner and after, these ladies set up and orchestrated every detail beautifully.

I’m not sure how to put my thanks into words, but I’ll try. I got married here this past weekend on September 2nd, and, man… It wouldn’t have been such a perfect day without Sandy Creek and the staff. They truly went SO above and beyond to ensure my husband and I had the easiest, most stress-free day possible. They set up our décor perfectly, exactly how I envisioned in my mind, coordinated our vendors’ arrival and set up, kept everyone on schedule… They were seriously on top of it all. Not to mention how sweet and kind they all were. Truly a pleasure to speak with all of the staff, even outside of wedding details. My daughter got married at Sandy Creek Farms in June. We knew the venue was beautiful but had no idea how amazing the weekend would be! Angie and Nicole made it so easy to be the mother of the bride, reassuring me every time I almost freaked out! As a wedding photographer, I cannot brag on Sandy Creek enough. The location is gorgeous, and the possibilities are endless for amazing photo locations. Not to mention, the staff at Sandy Creek makes the entire experience amazing! Had our wedding a few weeks ago and it was the most perfect, beautiful day ever. From touring the venue to the million questions I had to coordinate everything for me and asking me questions I would’ve never thought of, SCF did an amazing job. They are the best team and went above and beyond to ensure I was a happy bride and that the groom was happy, too, of course. They set up all my decorations, coordinated with all my vendors, and made our wedding day a dream come true. I literally can ramble on forever about how great our experience was. I definitely recommend the wedding retreat package. It was so nice being able to stay on-site in the cabins with my family and wedding party and to have the weekend to just relax and enjoy. Also, all the venues on site are absolutely gorgeous. My guests were thoroughly impressed. Also, for how much you get for the weekend, the price is surreal.

My wife and I just enjoyed our wedding at Sandy Creek this past weekend. It was AMAZING. We received constant compliments from all of our guests concerning the beauty of the venue and the constant help of the staff. Michelle and Angie were INCREDIBLE with setting up the venue, with all of the other staff being equally amazing. My husband and I can not rave enough about Sandy Creek and its staff!! Michelle, Angie, and Nicole were the most amazing people I could ever hope to help coordinate our wedding. I am an over-thinker but NOT a planner or visionary… These three ladies went above and beyond, from helping make reception table centerpieces the night before, to putting together last-minute rehearsal dinner decor (that I brainlessly forgot to even think about), to stitching up a loose seam in my wedding dress, to running to the store for anything we requested. And all of this was just the day of, and not including the year beforehand, where I pestered Michelle about so many details. They made such a stressful day run so freaking smooth my husband and I were in AWE at their work ethic. I kept asking them how do they remember all my little requests?! We had so many friends and family notice their efforts and complimented how amazing they were. The place would be just some gorgeous views without them, and I hope they never leave so they can assist future brides with their astounding skills, and also because we want to go back and rent a cabin for a weekend getaway and see them once again!
Sandy Creek Farms itself is a breathtaking venue. I had several people question me why I wanted to get married 5 hours from where we live, and once they saw the place, they immediately understood. We can not wait to visit in the future and relive the best day of our lives at this beautiful place!

Wow! What an incredible experience with Sandy Creek! Michelle and Angie are the absolute best! From the very start, communication was great! Angie toured us around the Farm and then explained the entire process. Sandy Creek was the only venue we toured. We fell in love with the property, the scenic route to the property, and the Staff and knew it was meant to be! After booking the property for our date, communication was constant and consistent!
Rain was shown on the forecast leading up to the day of the wedding- which was planned to be mostly outdoors. Michelle took all of my stress and worries away by being so prompt and Knowledgeable about what to do.
One hour before the ceremony, the decision was made to move everything indoors to the Stables, and Michelle and Angie facilitated the move with our vendors, guests, and bridal party flawlessly!
The only thing bad I have to say about Michelle and Angie is the sadness that we now have, knowing our time with them has come to an end.
To Michelle and Angie- we cannot thank you both enough for the reassurances, for the help, for the words of wisdom, and for your patience. Because of you both, our wedding day was amazing, and we will have incredible memories lasting a lifetime!

Sandy Creek, what can I say? I’m so late writing this review. My husband and I got married here in May. Michelle Angie and all the staff here were beyond amazing. From calming down all the nerves and even letting me run with my own ideas for what I wanted. It was simply amazing. It did rain on our day, but the backup plan worked perfectly! I was so nervous, but everything was so stunning. If you are looking for a place to get married or even have a different event here, this is the place to do it!! Sandy Creek will always have a piece of my heart.

If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue, then look no further. Book your date quickly and know that you are in wonderful hands. Each venue at Sandy Creek Farms is beautiful. We chose the Island for the wedding and used the Stables and Pavilion for the reception. EVERYTHING went better than we could have hoped, and we did not have to worry about anything but enjoying the evening with our daughter and new son. The staff worked so hard to make sure they understood our entire vision. Then, they made sure it became a reality. Michelle was quick to respond to messages, and we always felt like we were important to her. We received numerous compliments on how beautiful our daughter’s wedding was and how well everything flowed. I would reserve this venue again without a second thought. We got married August 6th, and the entire experience with Sandy Creek was nothing short of amazing. The entire time, they answered my questions and made me feel completely at ease. They made all my ideas come to life and made my wedding a dream. Our photographer had to leave, so we had to change our entire timeline. I have said it over and over, but I truly cannot praise Sand Creek enough! Besides the venue being breathtakingly beautiful, Michelle, Nicole, Angie, and the rest of the staff are phenomenal! They made it easy, and even though I know some things we wanted were challenging, they never acted like it was a big deal at all! Michelle was always willing to give suggestions if she thought something else would work better, and we appreciated that so much.
My daughter’s wedding was May 28th, and I’ve heard many times that it was like a fairytale. That didn’t happen magically. The Sandy Creek staff worked tirelessly to make sure that it was the dream that my daughter & her husband wanted. There were some things (transitions, movement, etc.) that happened, and I didn’t even know it. It was just there, and it was perfect. I’ve also said that I don’t like to use the word “perfect” because nothing is perfect, but if something went wrong, we never knew about it. It was stress-free for all of us! That’s what makes a great team.
They are super organized, professional, and so fun to work with. In fact, I will miss our meetings! The grounds are well-groomed and beautiful. My son-in-law’s family rented the cabins on the property and were so pleased with everything.
I really could go on forever about how wonderful Sandy Creek is, but trust me, you won’t regret having your event here. They deserve more than 5 stars! We appreciate them so very much!

Choosing Sandy Creek Farms for our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we could have made. We couldn’t find a venue that fit our vision until Sandy Creek. The venue was gorgeous, and Michelle was a dream to work with. She made the wedding process so easy and stress-free.
My endless emails with questions never phased Michelle, and everything was taken care of immediately. All of our random and sometimes no-so-easy requests were made a reality. When we came to her with a list of last-minute changes, changes that had to be changed themselves a few times actually… she made it happen and assured me that it wasn’t an issue.
Everyone was amazing to work with, and they made our day a dream come true. Our wedding party and guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it was and how wonderfully it all came together. If I had to choose a wedding venue all over again, I’d choose Sandy Creek – no question.

I can’t recommend Sandy Creek enough. My husband and I just got married here, and let me tell you, it was my DREAM WEDDING! And it is mostly thanks to the wonderful staff.
We chose the relax and enjoy package, and let me tell you, I really did relax and enjoy (as much as a bride can, LOL). Michelle was our day-of coordinator, and she was beyond wonderful. She was there for us every single step of the way and was literally only a phone call away at all times.
On our rehearsal night, the restaurant we were supposed to go to flaked on us and were so unprofessional, but the staff and Sandy Creek took it upon them to help us in and way and ended up setting up the most beautiful last-minute rehearsal dinner!! Which was not at all their job; they were simply just kind and giving humans.
The venue is also BREATHTAKING!! The island is so dreamy!
If you are looking to get married on the water on a beautiful farm, I highly recommend. I also highly recommend choosing the package that includes the day-of staff because they will legitimately be your right-hand man.
This venue and all of their staff are such a blessing and made our dreams come true. We can not express how grateful we are, and we can’t recommend them enough.

We just got married there on April 2nd. We did the wedding retreat package, and they created the most amazing, magical, special weekend for us.
My husband and I, along with all of our bridal party, our parents, and our guests, could not have had a better experience or better things to say about the staff at Sandy Creek, not to mention how beautiful it is.
The owner is very attentive to the property and has done all of the landscaping himself. He is so kind, and it was such a joy to meet him.
They were incredibly accommodating helpful, and made my wedding as not stressful as possible. They are people I will keep in touch with for life.
There are trails, canoes, paddle boats, and so much to enjoy just on the property.
Everything was clean and cozy. Stocked with whatever you need, and the staff is attentive to each and every guest. (And we got to bring our dogs, which is a big reason why we chose them – they are SO pet-friendly).
Weddings are stressful, especially planning and setting things up, etc, but they made it feel like an incredible vacation. I am so grateful for Michelle, Nicole, and Angie, and we so enjoyed spending time with them and enjoying Sandy Creek and all the beauty it has to offer!!
We will be coming back for anniversaries and whenever we can.

I truly cannot say enough great things about Michelle and the entire Sandy Creek staff. From the early stages of planning, we were made to feel so comfortable making such big decisions. We never felt an ounce of pressure, and it genuinely felt like we were working with friends. Michelle made herself available to me MANY times when she absolutely did not have to. The process of planning a destination wedding seemed daunting initially, but we were so surprised by the organization that took place behind the scenes. From coordinating with our vendors to flowers in each of the bungalows, they truly think of everything! My husband and I booked Sandy Creek in August of 2020 and then were married there in October 2021. We cannot say enough good things about this venue and their staff. They go above and beyond to make your day absolutely a dream.
The venue is an absolute fairytale. We used the venue for both the engagement and wedding photos. You can not get a BAD photo here as there is stunning scenery and backdrops everywhere you turn. We also booked the venue the night before the wedding for all our family/ wedding party, and the accommodations were perfect for us!
Although the venue is exceptional in itself, Sandy Creek’s Staff is the true Gem! They work harder than anyone I know to make your day and the planning process perfect. They didn’t fret with the million requests and emails I sent asking about the littlest details or to come walk through the venue multiple times to make sure I had everything I wanted for the big day. On the wedding weekend, they were moving a million miles a minute to make everything perfect. The ladies also offered to do many things outside their requirements to pick up the slack on things we forgot to do in the rush of the wedding day! I was beyond grateful to have such a wonderful venue staff that made our Big Day everything we could imagine!
We couldn’t have asked for a more magical wedding day, and I know a huge part of that was thanks to Sandy Creek!

5 star is truly not a good enough rating. From the first time I stepped foot on Sandy Creek, I fell in love. Michelle and her team rolled out the red carpets for us from the first tour to the end of the wedding weekend.
We decided to spend the entire weekend with Sandy Creek and the farm. As far as I knew, none of my family hardly had to lift a finger if they didn’t want to. Us, our families, and our bridal party got to enjoy the farm like it was our own. All of the guys rode their four-wheelers and explored the trails. We spent Friday and Saturday nights in the cabins, which were perfect.
As far as the wedding went, it was absolutely seamless and perfect. The Sandy Creek crew made sure me and my new husband never had an empty drink, fixed our plates for us, picked up after us, seriously more than I could’ve ever dreamed of. If anything went wrong, I was never aware of it. As always, there was one hiccup in our day, which was to no fault of Sandy Creek, and as soon as Michelle found out, she stepped in and had it corrected.
Michelle was a blessing! She held our hands through the entire process and went through every detail with us with a fine tooth comb prior to and made my wedding day a dream.
There truly aren’t words to describe my experience with Sandy Creek, but I have absolutely no complaints or disappointments!
Sandy Creek is the perfect destination venue that’s not too far from home. I would have my day there all over again and will 100% be back to stay again.

We had our wedding in October, and it was absolutely wonderful. The venues are picturesque and very well maintained. We chose the Island for our ceremony and the Stables for our reception. I don’t even know where to begin! We had our rehearsal dinner, stayed the night, and had a late afternoon wedding wedding next day at Sandy Creek. The best way to describe this whole weekend was like the perfect combination of a weekend at Kellermans (Dirty Dancing reference) and the best romantic comedy. It absolutely POURED rain from the moment our ceremony started. We wound up not going with our contingency plan, got married inside our reception venue, by the gift table, and our guests still couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it was! Even at the rehearsal dinner and the reception, everyone joked about finding a reason to come back because not only was it beautiful it was also comfortable. And thats just the facilities. There are not enough thank yous in the world for the staff at Sandy Creek, especially Michelle! No question was ever too small. They worked with us on EVERYTHING. They were so welcoming and helpful!! At the end of the night, it was almost hard to leave. We had such an amazing time! Truth be told, it’s probably a tie who loves this place and that weekend more, us, our family, or our dog! Which is a whole nother story I love to tell. I can’t say enough good things about Sandy Creek!! We will be back!

From start to finish, our experience with Sandy Creek Farms was fantastic. The moment I laid eyes on the venue, I knew this was the place I wanted to start my new beginning with my husband-to-be. Its gorgeous scenery and multiple venue options at the price we were able to book it was unmatched by any in the greater Nashville area. Michelle Jerrell, the venue manager, was very knowledgeable of the property, patient with all our questions, and so very kind during what could have been a stressful process. She was made sure all our needs were taken care throughout the entire planning process and worked in tandem seamlessly with my Wedding coordinator to ensure our wedding day went on without a hitch. Overall, I would recommend Sandy Creek Farms of any event or weekend getaway. You may be like, wow.” I am in the middle of nowhere,” during the drive, but once you get out there, the heavens upon up, and you don’t want to leave. Just celebrated the marriage of my son and daughter-in-law at Sandy Creek Event Center. This place is amazing and a “photographer’s dream,” as described by our photographer. We used the event center as well as the on-site cabins, and everything was exceptional. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. It is a hidden jewel in Henry County, and word needs to get out!

We rented the north and south bungalows for 6 days for a family vacation. My in-laws, husband, and 4 kids all really enjoyed our stay! The bungalows were immaculate and very comfortable. The kids said the pull-out sofa beds were just as or more comfortable than the Hampton Inn we stayed at on our way to Tennessee. The king bed was super comfy, and we had all the linens and little extras we needed. We used the communal kitchen in the barn every day for breakfast and dinner. We used the paddle boat on the lake and played corn hole and other games at the barn. My kids had an absolute blast catching fireflies, and frogs, fishing, and hiking. The property is breathtakingly beautiful- my daughter wants to get married here she’ll just need to wait quite a few years because she is 12, lol. The location of the chef’s cabin and bungalows was great, very near to the laundry facilities, barn, and greenhouse. The lakefront cabin is small and would be nice for a couple – I couldn’t believe how nice that spot was though. A huge screened-in deck, a large covered deck, and a dock. If there weren’t so many of us, we would have also loved to stay there. We will definitely be back. The staff was amazing- check-in and check-out were super easy, and everyone was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Whether you are planning a wedding, a romantic getaway, or just a relaxing family vacation, this is the perfect spot.

My wife and I got married at this beautiful venue May 23rd, and it was amazing! The place was absolutely stunning, and the price was almost just as great! The staff was extremely helpful and was able to answer any questions that we had! They helped us with our wedding so much. We did not have a wedding planner or coordinator, and they helped us through this entire process! I would definitely say if you’re thinking about this venue, then you just need to choose it. Everyone in our family and even the wedding photographer said that it was the prettiest venue that they had ever been to!

I cannot say enough good things about this place and its entire staff. First and foremost, Michelle was WONDERFUL!! Wonderful isn’t even the word of justice. Every single step of the way, she was there for anything I needed. Her coordination and attention to detail are impeccable. She 100% made my wedding day a day I have always dreamed about. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners on Friday night when we stayed and also had a very wonderful experience. They were open to criticism and changes I might suggest, although I couldn’t think of a single thing I would change. Secondly, this place is BEAUTIFUL. You cannot even imagine the beauty unless you see it in person. The property is well maintained, down to every detail. If I could give this 10 stars, I would. If you are looking for a quiet, restful, romantic getaway, you can’t beat Sandy Creek Event Center. We were looking for a place to celebrate our 33rd anniversary, which was delayed by Covid last year. Every spot and feature is marked by excellence and a desire to make it a memorable stay. The layout of the land is beautifully landscaped, with flowering trees and plants everywhere. From a bubbling rock brook and waterfalls by our lakeside cabin to the stunning bridge to the island in the middle of the lake with a stone venue, everywhere we set our eyes was something to enjoy. We loved the sitting and swinging benches placed in scenic areas, the lights at night at each venue, the trails (some elevated) which took us on miles and miles of wooded land where we saw a bald eagle flying over a reservoir, and the lovely, straight view down the long railroad bed on one of the trails with ferns all around. I had a great time fishing on the 20-acre lake from my kayak and caught all the bass that I could want. The staff were super accommodating and friendly and made our stay one of our best anniversary celebrations ever. Thank you, Morgan family, for the time and effort you have put into making this such a great place for family getaways or get-togethers! We have found a diamond of a retreat for us!

Sandy Creek was our wedding venue in November. Michelle, Angie, and the entire staff at Sandy Creek were AMAZING to work with. They went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend so perfect. The event center is breathtaking, and our guests were blown away by our beautiful the venue is. Our wedding party stayed on site in the cabins the entire weekend, and I cannot recommend this option enough. From our rehearsal dinner in the stables to our wedding ceremony on the island, then ending the date with dinner and dancing in the pavilion/stables–our weekend was PERFECT. :)

Sandy Creek did an amazing job hosting our wedding in October 2020. The planning team (Michelle and Angie) were very responsive and professional and always had a solution for any questions or issues we had during the process. Michelle planned with me up until the day of and was able to execute our timeline perfectly, with any issues or questions being directed to my day-of-coordinator so I could focus on other things.
Our outdoor ceremony was a little rocky, as we had rain from 8 AM the day of until about 45 minutes before the ceremony, and the Sandy Creek staff had the entire set-up on the Island ready and waiting as soon as it stopped. As well as the rain backup plan ready and waiting in the Pavilion if it was needed (luckily, it did not have to be used). The reception went flawlessly, and we also stayed at the venue the night before and night of our wedding. We will be returning in the future for more stays on Airbnb!

My husband and I were married at Sandy Creek last Saturday, October 17th, 2020. We have had the venue booked since January, and they have been great to work with since then, always accommodating our many venue visits and even building us our dream ceremony site in the pines. Vickie made so many of the small details happen for us that really made our day perfect. Michelle was great to work with and made sure everyone was on the same page with everything from the moment we arrived until we left. The venue speaks for itself. It is absolutely beautiful! No matter what your style is, they can accommodate you. We loved so many of the spaces we ended up using the pines for our ceremony, the island for the cocktail hour, and the stables and patio for our reception. We also used the bungalows and cabins. Everything on the property is in great condition and just breathtaking. Highly recommend a visit to see if this venue is for you!

The environment was very serene, with beautiful nature walk activities like fishing, walking the island site seeing, etc. was great. The staff was awesome! If you looking to get away for a peaceful vacation, this is the place.

My husband and I (and our Labrador puppy) stayed at the Farmhouse Cottage for a weekend getaway. We had the best time and will definitely be back in the future! Sandy Creek is a nature lovers paradise. Angie made sure we had everything we needed and more! We were so sad to have to leave, but we made memories there that we will never forget!

It is hard to imagine a more perfect getaway than the lake view cabin at Sandy Creek Farms.
The views are incredible, and the property itself is amazing. We loved walking around the farm, canoeing around the lake, fishing off the dock, doing puzzles on the screened-in porch, and just relaxing in the many different places and enjoying the beautiful scenery. This is a place where the pictures hardly do it justice, and it feels like you’re in your own private paradise. It is very romantic, and the entire time we were there, we just kept saying, “We can’t believe this is real.”
I also have to say that the check-in / check-out process was extremely easy, and everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. We are already making plans to return next year on our anniversary and can’t wait to go back!

I can’t say enough good things about this wedding venue!! The venue was absolutely GORGEOUS, and the bungalows/cabins were so nice for our family and wedding party to be able to stay in Friday night after the rehearsal dinner and Saturday night after our wedding. All the staff at Sandy Creek was so helpful and very quick to respond and get back to you! The lake views for the wedding ceremony are STUNNING! You won’t regret booking Sandy Creek Event Center for your wedding!

A must-book wedding venue! We just had my daughter’s wedding there this past weekend. It was absolutely one of the most beautiful venues for a wedding! From booking the venue with Shannon last year until the day of the wedding, Shannon and her team have been amazing! They have been there every step of the way, holding our hands and helping to insure everything goes perfectly. Everyone needs a Shannon during this process. :-)

This place is amazing!! My husband and I stayed in the Lakeview Cabin during the 4th of July weekend. Everything was perfect! Everyone was so nice and friendly! They were completely booked for the weekend, but the property is large and secluded, so we couldn’t really tell anyone else was there unless they came down to the lake. The view from our cabin was absolutely breathtaking! The fishing was awesome! We didn’t want or need for anything our entire stay! The personal touches made it feel even more like home! There were even fresh handpicked flowers in the kitchen and screened-in gazebo!! If you need a place to getaway and relax, this is the place!!

An absolutely beautiful site for a wedding (or any event or get-together)! We were able to watch the sunset over the lake as the bridal couple gave their vows. Top-notch facilities! 5 stars! The property is truly magnificent, with its rolling hills and forests of manicured pines, stones, landscaping, lighting, water features, and the island in the middle of a huge lake where the ceremony took place. Such a helpful staff to assist attendees with their needs. There is a chef’s kitchen and a huge banquet hall for seating, and even more outside for the views. They have made an amazing place for a party or meeting. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous, and they even had shuttles running to move guests around the property. The venue covers a really large area. I hope I get the chance to go back again in the future! Thanks!!!!

I was looking for a venue to have my 50th Birthday Party. This was the first time I had a party for myself, and the goal was to make it special. I looked at several venues, and someone told me about Sandy Creek. I took the initiative to explore a little bit and discovered a hidden secret that no one knew about. The 430-acre property is spacious and breathtaking. I looked at the Stables and fell in love with the craftsmanship and design. The Pavilion is definitely a wonderful place to gather family and friends. The view from the Pavilion is priceless. Let’s just say at night, it’s even more enchanting.
I’m so glad I explored my hometown of Paris, Tennessee. This property brings peace and serenity. I had one guest of mine who lives in Paris say, “ He felt like he was in Nashville. “

I was a guest at this venue for a wedding last October and was absolutely stunned by the entire affair. The property is truly magnificent, with its rolling hills and forests of manicured pines, stone hardscapes, landscaping, the lighting, water features, and my personal favorite, which was an island in the middle of a huge lake (this is where the ceremony took place). The staff was extremely helpful and courteous, and they even had shuttles running to move guests around the property. I think the thing that impressed me the most (and this is going to sound strange) was the fact that I never had to walk more than a minute to find a restroom! They even had restrooms on the island where the ceremony took place. The venue covers a really large area, and the fact that they have as many bathrooms “sprinkled” around as they do really shows how much they’ve thought through things. I’ve been to many weddings over the past 20 years, but this is the nicest wedding venue (and property, for that matter) that I’ve ever seen. I’m not a typical “internet reviewer” type person, but I was so blown away that I felt compelled to write something. I had a spectacular time at the wedding, and the venue was one of the biggest reasons. I hope I get the chance to go back again in the future!
