Many couples come from all over the United States to host their destination wedding here. The Barn at White Oaks

The barn-style venue can accommodate up to 250 guests and is temperature controlled for year-round weddings and events. There are handicap bathrooms on the main level of the venue and a bridal suite with salon-style mirrors, chairs, makeup, and hair tools, as well as a full bathroom with a shower.

The Barn at Cedar Grove has an outdoor event space that can accommodate 201-250 guests while Louisville Ballroom at Shall We Dance? has an indoor ballroom that can accommodate 316-500 guests. Getting Married at Land Between The Lakes

If you’re thinking of getting married in the near future, you might want to consider having your wedding at Kentucky Lake or Lake Barkley. LBL is managed by the US Forest Service, and as such, there are some restrictions on what kind of weddings can take place here.

Wedding ceremonies need to have less than 75 guests and must not include live or recorded music or a catered meal for weddings to take place at LBL. If your ceremony will have more than 75 guests, you’ll need to apply for a Special Use Permit. However, there are a few exceptions – Stephen’s Church, Homeplace, and Nature Station all allow larger weddings without a permit.

Lodging is available at many of the campsites around the lakes area – this could be a great way to save on costs if you’re planning on having out-of-town guests.
